Jan Madhyam Samaj Vikas Samity is proud to announce its recognition at the prestigious World Sustainable Development Summit 2025, held at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, on March 5, 2025. The summit was organized under the overarching theme, ‘Partnerships for Accelerating Sustainable Development and Climate Solutions’, bringing together global stakeholders committed to environmental sustainability.

The award was conferred under the Seventh Operational Phase of the Small Grants Program (SGP-7) of the Global Environment Facility (GEF). This initiative has been successfully implemented in India through collaboration between the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (Government of India) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) has been designated as the national coordinating agency to oversee the execution of this initiative.

As part of this national initiative, Jan Madhyam has effectively implemented the project in Madhya Pradesh, contributing significantly to biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable community development.
